While flying the drone over the stunning roads of Amalfi with a friend, he suddenly received the dreaded low battery warning—time to head back. He’d learned his lesson after ignoring similar warnings at Lake Bled, where his drone had ended up making an unscheduled landing on the island. This time, he immediately turned back, but luck wasn’t on his side.

The GPS, in a moment of mischief, locked onto a spot just next to our starting point. With every building looking nearly identical, he circled around, unable to find the exact location. Eventually, he managed to land the drone safely—on the roof of a parking garage.
