As we hiked up the steep trail toward what I knew would be the most beautiful view of my life, my heart raced—not just from the climb, but from the sheer excitement of what awaited us. To my left, the ground dropped away into a dizzying abyss, a reminder of the wildness and grandeur of the Dolomites.

And then, finally, we reached the spot. Cadini di Misurina stood before us in all its glory—jagged peaks reaching into the sky, rugged and majestic. In that moment, the thrill of the journey and the awe of the destination merged into a memory that will stay with me forever. It was as if the mountain rewarded us for every careful step along that edge.
